Barrolle lead cut down in LFA league

Mighty Barrolle lead in the Liberia Football Association premiership league has been cut down to one point.

Barrolle lead was cut down after Monrovia Club Breweries in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County, held them to a 0-0 draw.
 

The draw leaves Barrolle at the top of the premiership table with 14 points from six games.
 

At the Antoinette Tubman Stadium, Sensational LPRC Oilers and LISCR FC managed a 1-1 draw in an entertaining showpiece.
 

Nuzohn Kulala individual effort for LISCR in the 53rd minute sent the team ahead.
 

But matter change at the ATS when Johnny Bledee put at the back of the LISCR net a Varmah Kpoto cross in the 70th minute.
 

The draw gave Oilers 13 points and keeps them at the 2nd position on the table.
 

Earlier at the ATS, USA FC buried Paynesville Young Controllers 2-0.

Black Star FC climbed 3rd on the Premiership table with a vital victory over struggling Mighty Blue Angels.
 

Blue Angels bowed to Black Star FC 1 goal to 0 at the Unification Town Field in Margibi County.
 

Sengbe Kennedy sealed the victory for Black Star in the first half from a spot kick.
 

Black Star has 11 points from six games.
 

Kortie IE whipped Queens 2 goals to 0 in the first game in Unification Town.
 

Barrack Young Controllers continued their revival in the first division with a crucial 1-0 win over Devereaux FC at the NPA Field on Bushrod Island.
 

In game two, Gedi &Sons buried the host NPA Anchors 4convincing goals to 2 in a premiership action.
 

Alex Moore, Archie Harvey, Wiaka Wesseh and Patrick Wleh were the scorers for Gedi  &Sons.
 

Jackson Cooper and Isaac Cole got the goals for NPA Anchors.
 

Both teams are tied on ten points but Gedi &Sons has a superior goal difference.
