Liberian International Sam Johnson has been in terrific scoring form since he returned to base in Sweden after national duties against Djibouti.
The Liberian international who scored his first international goal for country in March has scored five times since the Swedish championship known as the Allsvenskan began. He is the top scorer so far with five goals from four games.
On April 3, the Liberian striker scored in the 24th minute to give his club Djurgården a 2-0 away win over Örebro on the opening weekend of the season. Sam Johnson scored a brace in the 6th and 54th minute of Djurgarden IF’s 5-0 thrashing of Falkenbergs FF at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on April 7.
Sam Johnson was again on target in Djurgården’s 2-1 away victory over the club side of fellow Liberian striker Dioh Williams’ Gefle IF on April 10. Johnson scored in the 77th minute to give his side a desired win; however, his fifth goal of the season yesterday wasn’t enough as his side lost to Hammerby 3-1 at home.
